Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
Luna IT Consulting Inc. ("Luna IT Consulting", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. It is designed to align with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's PIPEDA.
Who is responsible for your information
Luna IT Consulting Inc. is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. For any privacy question or request, our Person in Charge of the Protection of Personal Information can be reached at:
- Email: salvatore@lunaitconsulting.com
- Phone: 514-983-9989
What we collect and why
- Email you send us. This site has no contact form. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message and use it solely to respond and to arrange a consultation.
- Consultation bookings. Our “Book a call” button takes you to Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. If you book a time there, Calendly collects the details you enter (typically name, email, and any notes) and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting. Their handling of that information is governed by Calendly’s privacy notice. You can email us instead if you would rather not use it.
- Website analytics. This site currently runs no analytics or tracking scripts at all. If we add analytics in future, we will use a privacy-focused, cookieless service that reports only aggregate traffic — for example, which pages are popular and roughly where visitors come from — and does not track you across other websites or collect information that identifies you personally.
- Server logs. Our host (Cloudflare Pages) keeps standard, short-lived request logs for security and reliability, which may include IP addresses. We do not use these for marketing.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and our analytics are cookieless. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font service. Because of this you will not see a cookie-consent banner.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. If you book a consultation we share only what is needed to schedule it with Calendly, our scheduling provider. Email you send us goes to our own mailbox. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiries and booking records only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of our correspondence, after which they are deleted. Aggregate analytics contain no personal information and may be kept indefinitely.
Your rights
Under Law 25 and applicable Canadian privacy law, you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your information, subject to legal limits;
- Make a complaint about how we handle your information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
